DR. ANITA BUTTAR & ASSOCIATES
IMPLANT DENTISTRY IN PENTICTON
Dental implants may be an option for anyone who has lost a tooth or teeth due to injury, periodontal disease, or some other reason. An implant acts as an artificial tooth root to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants restore the look, feel, fit, and function of your teeth.
There are two components to a dental implant. The first is the actual dental implant that gets osseointegrated into the bone. The second component is the crown, which gets cemented or screwed into the dental implant. Dr. Buttar works with a local dental specialist to have the dental implant placed appropriately. After this has been done, Dr. Buttar completes the treatment by fabricating and inserting the crown into the implant.
